Taking Care Cancer is building a long-term perspective and collaborative model for cancer survivorship. Taking Care Portland holds quarterly, volunteer-driven events at TaborSpace in Portland, Oregon. We feature community, clothing-on massage therapy, group acupuncture live, improvised sound therapy with the Taking Care Sound Tribe, and mindful movement practices. Taking Care Cancer believes in a food as medicine approach. Join us for a beautiful community meal created with organic produce donated by local farms while listening to a guest lecturers speak about the latest cancer survivorship research.
Help us build a long-term, community perspective on cancer care. Help us open up dialogue and learning between all the health care disciplines of integrative oncology. Help us build a generation who hold an awareness of their body, mind, and spirit. All those living with cancer, survivors of cancer, friends, co-workers, family, educators, researchers and the entire caregiving community are most welcome to attend.
