Dear friends, in light of our entire world going topsy turvy, as our community responds to Covid-19, the novel Coronavirus, I am temporarily suspending my massage therapy and bodywork practice, beginning Tuesday, March 17th, 2020.

At the moment, I am shutting down for four weeks, but that could be longer as things develop. Through executive action, Oregon’s Governor Brown has instructed businesses that cannot serve customers in a way that minimizes interpersonal contact to shut down completely during the pandemic. 

We have only so much time to flatten the curve of this unique situation, before our medical institutions become overwhelmed. Guidelines from state, local, national, and world leadership call for social distancing, given the long, symptom free incubation period and ease of transmission. It breaks my heart, but it’s impossible to practice social distancing with a hands on bodywork practice.

In the meantime, I am going on a snazzy staycation, hanging out with my old dog. Keep an eye on my Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube channel (links on my homepage). I’ll continue bringing you original music and video to brighten up your day, educate, and inspire!

Online scheduling

Myofascial bodywork sessions include a detailed health history, talk time, education, assessment, and hands-on treatment. This is a clothing-on bodywork practice. Wear light clothing suitable for stretching and movement. Please arrive recently showered and free of fragrances.

Personal Health Plan Billing: Before your session, my insurance biller needs to perform a benefits check, including verifying your co-pay or co-insurance, and to see if a pre-authorization from your doctor is required. You will be responsible for any denied claims. Please e-mail an image of the front and back of your insurance card and Date of Birth. You may also drop-off a copy at Earth Body Wellness Center East or mail a hard copy. It usually takes 2-3 business days to verify your benefits. E-mail to hamidlmt@gmail.com

Motor Vehicle Accident Billing: MVA's can be billed to insurance with an open PIP, claim number, and prescription with diagnosis codes from your doctor or chiropractor.

Cancellation Policy: Missing an appointment or cancellations 24 hours prior to your scheduled session are subject to a $45 fee, due before your next session. A same-day cancellation or no-show may void a gift certificate or pre-paid session. Abuse of the online calendar may lead to exclusion from online scheduling.

​If billing insurance for motor vehicle accidents (MVA) and personal health insurance billing, rates for insurance codes (CPT 97124 & CPT 97140) will be used. Rates reflect a Point of Service Discount of CPT 8E0KX1Z when paid in full at the time of your session. *
